pauline Posted April 11, 2007 Share Posted April 11, 2007 this is the recipe i mentioned in chat mon. night it makes a large batch of cookies 1 lb oleo/butter 12 eggs 4 c brown sugar 3 lbs peanut butter 4 c sugar 1 Tbs cornsyrup 1 Tbs vanilla 18 c oatmeal 8 tsp soda 1 lb m&m,or choc. chips or butterscotch chips or a mix of them all Mix butter sugars,syrup,eggs, vanilla, add other ingredients and mix, drop by teaspoonful onto cookie sheet bake @ 350* for 12 min let set for about 1 min before removing from pan to cooling rack this recipe will fill a 30 lb lard can full of cookies They can be frozen but will crumble as they thaw out so i use only when having a large group for a meal or party or to take to a potluck type event. Leah Posted April 11, 2007 Share Posted April 11, 2007 They sound tasty. Have you tried freezing the raw dough? I have but to ask and the fellas will do the heavy mixing for me, but I hesitate to ask too often. This sounds like one mixing and I could make cookies several times if the dough freezes well.
