Dee
Since its my grocery shopping day this evening I think instead of buying a meal while out I am going to make a simple but filling meal for this evening when we get home. Here goes: Turkey Sloppy Joes made with 2 lbs of Ground Turkey from Aldi's grocery store. - 1 lb costs 59 cents. 1 can of Aldi Sloppy Joe Mix- 59 cents Carrots and Celery Sticks- both 49 cent a bag at Aldi's Left over Keiser Rolls Lemonade Leftover Brownies and peaches from yesterday. Estimated total cost of meal per person- 1.02 cents I am making the sloppy joes in the crockpot so they can simmer all day long. I also made extra for another meal at another time. Goose Liver
Oh gosh Reci, now I 'm embarrassed... my menu for yesterday was very very sad....... forgot my son had to leave early 4:30 for an appt. so he got fried egg sandwiches (we only have eggs once a week, if even that). Daughter didn't want that so she had left over perogies with a salad. Everything I buy is on sale or we don't eat it. I had popcorn for supper..... Quote Link to comment

Deblyn
I've just got to ask this - Brigid, what on earth are perogies?? Most things I can have a good guess at, but this sounds like an illness! "I can't come out tonight, I've got the perogies........."!!!! Quote Link to comment
