MamaTiger
Alone...I take nothing traditional for the pcos at all. I was told that I shouldn't until I was through having babies...and I won't be thru with that until the big M comes. lol Link to comment

highdesertgirl
My 23 year old DD has just been diagnosed with this. What is Vitex and RRL tea? She is not taking any meds yet. Link to comment
MamaTiger
RRL is red raspberry leaf. You can purchase this in tincture form from TriLight Herbs or use the dried herb to make a tea to drink. Vitex(chasteberry) is another herb that can be used in tincture form from Trilight or in a capsule form. Both of these help to regulate hormones, as basically PCOS is a result of hormonal imbalances. Vic303
I wonder sometimes if I have PCOS...I suppose I should ask my OBGYN tomorrow during the ultrasound (I have a cyst down there...) Link to comment
Carie
I was prescribed metformin but haven't taken it regularly since I got pg with ds#3. Haven't taken it in several months. I don't know how your diet is, but the best thing that I have done for it is strict low carb diet and plenty of exercise. I know that doesn't help everyone, but thought that it might help you. Blessings, Carie Link to comment
