dogmom4
I found some videos on the canning process. It's always helpful for me to have a visual. What do you think about them Violet? Are the processes done safely? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JeSQmYK8uE4...feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ke-iE6rTWvw...feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jLB5b0l2uqg...feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tIomyJDTs5Y...feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EObiaC30Ybw...feature=related Link to comment

Violet
I watched the first one so far. Well, that is NOT a pressure canner, but only a cooker. It is not safe to use that as a canner. It must hold at least 4 quart sized jars in order to be safely canned in. Also, newspaper is not good to put your food on, the ink may be unsafe. Other than those things, it is nice. I did like the first part, too, where it shows the seeds, the garden, etc. If those things above were changed, it would be very nicely done. Link to comment
BiscuitMaker
Violet, I thought that was a pressure cooker, when I first looked at it. In the next ones she shows a canner. Link to comment
Violet
The one she shows with the long handle, that is not a canner. There was a part that shows it with pints. You cannot safely use one that only holds pints, that is a cooker only. If she had not done that most of her videos are really nice. I have not had time to view them all yet. Link to comment
