DH wants me to put up a batch of my mothers, but, while it tastes wonderful on a cold evening, it's texture is rather grainy and un appealing. Advice would be welcome. Also...Mom always boiling-h2o canned hers, but I think I'd be wiser to use the pressure canner for this project. Never done so before so I need guidence ther as well. Thanks! Link to comment

I was just looking at it earlie today, but I don't think I've ever had mincemeat before, so not sure I want to can up a whole b atch before I try it. Link to comment
