Stephanie
Okay, I ordered it, the 1/2 lb bulk. Now, I'll look forward to making some jelly, after I tried and failed, I haven't tried again. Link to comment
Kevin B 123
Don't give up, Stephanie ! Because my Apricot Jelly was my first attempt, I made a 1 jar ( 10 ounce) batch, so I could know for sure if it will work, loose less if it did not, learn in the process, and have JUST 1 jar to watch. I also don’t have a deep pot, nor one wide enough for more than 2 jars anyway! I need to scour the resale shops for a good deal on equipment! Link to comment

Kevin B 123
Is there some reason I could not use Apple Cider ? What about a Nector ???? Link to comment
Violet
Kevin, if you get the Pomona's pectin you can make anything gel ! Yes, cider will work, so will nectars. You can make wine jellies, some out of teas, too. The list is nearly endless of what you can make jelly from. Stephanie, you will be able to make jelly, I promise ! Link to comment
Stephanie
I can't wait to get it, I ordered it and now have all kinds of ideas running rampant in my busy little brain. I even saw a reference to coffee jelly the other day, Link to comment
rootdiggr
I used to make jelly from frozen concentrates. Our personal favorite was Hawaiian Punch Jelly. The recipe I used was similar to this: Grape Jelly (from frozen concentrate) 1 6-oz. can frozen concentrated grape juice 2 cups water 1 package MRS. WAGES Home-Jell 3-3/4 cups sugar Use recipe for Grape Jelly. Substitute the above ingredients. Follow the procedure under Making Jelly. Yield: 4 half-pint jars. Mrs Wages Link to comment
