I think I need a BIG glass of lemonade

I need to sit here and relax for a minute. Today I had to go on an ambulance call for a 25 yo female who WAS 7 months pregnant. She starting having seizures. We got her to the hospital and all was fine. We got her on to their bed, cleared the room and she started seizing again. This seizure sent her into labor and their ended up doing an emergency c-section, the worst part is she will have to remain at that hospital while the baby was airlifted to a different hospital.

 

So when I finally got home, my best friend called me, her neice who is 6 months pregnant is in the hospital because her water broke. I think I need a BIG glass of lemonade and then maybe a nap.

 

The good news is that other then that I've had a good day.
