out_of_the_ordinary
Any advice with the All-American Pressure Canners? I'm looking at them now and hope to buy one in a few months, specifically either the 921 or 925. They both hold the same amount of jars. What are the advantages of the larger size (925)? Does the extra room matter? Thank you. Link to comment
PoGo
The 925 holds more liquid, so you can cook a slightly larger quantity than the 921, if you use it for pressure cooking. The 925 also holds more cans, if you process in cans instead of jars. The 921 is slightly shorter than the 925, which is a plus, if you have a hood over your stove. I have the 930, and it just barely fits under my stove hood without the lid. Link to comment
Darlene
I have a 910, a 921 and 2-941's. I personally wouldn't bother with the 925...it's more expensive and in reality, I wouldn't ever use the extra height. The extra height will also add extra weight, and the AA's are very heavy canners to begin with. Link to comment
