I think they're good. I've used some of their jam recipies before, with great success. I haven't used the salsa, but I looked it over, and it looked good. Make sure you don't take short-cuts where cleanliness and processing are concerned-- if you follow exactly as they say, I think it should work out well.

Most of their things are safe. They are using a salsa mix on that one, so it is fine.

Agree with Violet that MOST of their recipes are safe. But not all of them. That particular site often comes under question on other canning/preserving forums. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the safest the site generally gets a 7-8.

 

They have some posted instructions in some recipes that are borderline modifications of approved recipes, some clearly outside the accepted guidelines, and a few that are downright unsafe. The usual recommendation is to use the recipes there with care. When in doubt ask about it or avoid it..
