Leanna1017
As part of my preps I've been trying to educate myself on how things were done before all of our modern conveniences were invented. Sort of a WWGD - "What Would Grandma Do" project. While searching for vintage recipes I stumbled across a wonderful resource - free ebooks! Both of these sites have a treasure trove of old cookbooks and books on homemaking from the late 19th to early 20th centuries. Many classic book titles are here too - every Jane Austen book is available. *** Common sense must be prevail when trying any of the recipes as health and safety standards have changed over the years.
