My first crush was either Prince Charles (I pretended to be princess Diana wink.gif) or a famous piano player that I can't remember his name now...shame on me! I thought for sure I was going to marry him, even if I was only 6! blush.gif

Well, I'm showing my age, for sure. My first crush was Ben Casey (Vincent Edwards was his real name). They had Ben Casey and Dr. Kildare bubble gum cards and I collected Casey's but traded off Kildare's, who was played by Richard Chamberlain. After that, I fell for Paul McCartney. (-:

I must have been 8-9 years old when I fell madly in *love* with John Boy of the Walton's. It wasn't so much his looks, as was his kind gentle approach on life. I knew then that I wanted to marry someone just like him smile.gif

Debbiele-are you talking about the musical "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers'? It had some of the most wonderful and athletic dance numbers I have ever seen. Do you remember the dance sequence where they jumped up, on, and over the log?????

debbielee... it was "Here Come the Brides", and I liked Bobby Sherman's shy, stumbling ways, too. 'Course now I figure it was all an act. *sigh*

They say he's an LA cop now. smile.gif

Count me in with the Davy Jones, Bobby Sherman group. But I tended to go for the Michael Nesmith-type guys who were "forgotten" by the masses! grin.gif

Man, don't we show our age!!! LOL

Richard Clayderman - ah! He is a gorgeous blonde French pianist in the eighties, with a lovely smile. he played the piano well as weel, as if that mattered when he looks like that! He played modern versions of well-known classical pieces, which were very easy to sin/hum along to. I listened to him a lot when I was at college, as part of my rather eclectic music taste!

Mmmmmmm, I'm listening to Richard Clayderman right now!!! I think I'm falling in love all over again...this time with the music, not the man wink.gif. Although I still think he is good looking! I wonder how old he is? I f any of you are interested in listening to his wonderful playing, I found him by looking him up on my web browser, just by tipying his name. You might have to look around a bit, but it is well worth the effort! If you do, ENJOY! Think of it as a gift from me to you!

All for now...must keep enjoying the music...and I also what to post something else that's "on my heart". Hope you all have a great day!

This is a great question. Thinking back to when I was 5 years of age I remember sitting watching Lawrence Welk with my grandmother on Saturday Nights and I fell head over heals for Myron Floren the accordian player on the show. I would get all giggy like and starry eyed when Ol Myron started playing the keys... Now in my preteen and teen years my first loves would have to be Ringo Starr and Peter Tork. I liked the guys with big noses I guess. Today I am over the moon with only one and I wouldn't trade him for anything.

I did forget one thing. Richard Clayderman is a hunko hunk of burnin love along with Sean Connery, John Rhys Davies, and Mark O'Shea the herpetologist.

I guess I am the odd ball in the bunch. Mine was the older brother on Bananza, I think his name was Adam.

He always looked so hansome in his black hat and clothes. He was honest, gentle and caring with the ladies but never afraid to stand up and fight for what is right, no matter how high the cost of his stand.

Guess what I found his personality in my new husband. He is my very best friend and not afraid to be himself instead of trying to be what the world expects a man to be. He told me last night that if someone put a gun to his head and told him they was going to pull the trigger if he did not denounce God...... He would tell them that they better pull the trigger than because all they can kill is his body but his soul will be home with God.

He thinks he is not good looking but he is very handsome in my eyes.

I had two major crushes when I was a kid and still love them in reruns. Mary Ann from Gilligan's Island and Julie Newmar (Cat Woman)from Batman. What can I say I had varied taste. The Good and the Bad Girls.
