It is Tuesday, sorry again for not getting this in on time. I sprained my foot, so I was in town yesterday and now have to keep my foot wrapped and up a bit. :(

Here are some things that count for miles.

You will have to be the judge of these. We have been counting 1 hour as a mile, but, sometimes it isn't so. Therefore, I'm letting you be the judge of these. :)

Good Evening (((((Snowmom)))))

Sorry to hear you sprained your foot, all things considered, you did exceptionally well. Congratulations.

Mine are,

Walking, 1 1/2 miles

Cleaning house & doing chores, 1/2 mile

Gardening, 1/8 mile. Watching plants grow doesn't count much, LOL

Moving 3/4 mile, but it felt like more carrying my little box back and forth.

I am guessing around 3 miles.

I should intentionally increase my distance for the sake of my health.

Who wants to join us?

Michael, how many miles did you do?

I have been remiss at posting my miles.

First of all, Snowmom, sorry about your foot. If you have access to an eliptical machine you might still be able to execise. I dislocated my little toe and broke a bone in my foot and couldn't run but was able to do the eliptical machine because there was no impact pressure on my foot.

Second, just counting running for my mileage because math is not my strong point (I have to use fingers and toes. I blame it on going to school in California during the late 60s, early 70s with new math).

40 miles

Annarchy, if you decide to increase your miles I think you should do it in your walking. The health rule is that you should shoot for 30 minutes of sustained activity at an increased heart rate 3 to 4 times a week. Although I run, walking is probably a better exercise since, although it takes longer, it isn't as hard on your joints.

Happy exercising this week.

Good morning,

My foot is healed and so next week, I will try to add a few miles. Thank you for your concern.

All of the miles I got in that week had been before I hurt my foot.

Have a great day. :)
