making vanilla and coffee creamer

I want to try making my own vanilla and coffee creamer has anyone tried making them? The coffee creamer we are thinking about using at church.

On the vanilla would you use vodka, Bourbon, brandy, or rum? I don't drink alcohol so I'm not sure what would be the differences between them.

I made my vanilla with vodka but I drink vodka on the rare occasion. And I couldn't tell you what we might have in the house besides that.

 

Thanks for sharing. I'm going to try a few from the last site. I wish there was one for sweet cream and one for hazelnut but that's just what I like.

I generally use vodka as it has no taste of its own. However, I have heard that rum is delicious because you get the flavor from the rum at the same time. It really makes no difference which alcohol you use--they all will do the job but the flavored ones give you more flavors in your vanilla. It is all yummy.

I'd imagine spiced rum or vanilla flavored vodka would be nice.

I used vanilla vodka last time. It is really good. Before I used plain vodka.
