Amishway Homesteaders
OK, here we go........................... I had a friend ask me today how to get that filmy stuff off his Tupperware? Now seeing we don't use it that much I said: no help but I know just the Ladies to ask. So.................... How do you clean your Tupperware when it gets that build up on it? Leman, vinegar, flame thrower? Or just toss them out and buy new ones? Quote Link to comment
Cat
Not sure what kind of film. Tupperware is supposed to be guaranteed; if it is still made, it can be exchanged for new. That said, I would start with Dawn dish soap, straight if needed. Or try scrubbing it with wet baking soda. Or add some salt in with the baking soda for extra scrubbing power. Quote Link to comment
Trudy
Tupperware sent me this in my last order. I have also seen it in Wal-Mart. It is Tupperware's recomended cleaner for the dishwasher. I always just used comet or soaked in mild bleach water. Edited September 1, 2012 by Trudy Quote Link to comment
The WE2's
Had some speghetti stain one of mine. Depending on size...fill halfway with water. Add about 3 tablespoons of white vinegar. Put in microwave and nuke it until it boils. Let set until it cools. Then wash well with hot soapy water. Works for me for stains, should work for anything else? Quote Link to comment
Amishway Homesteaders
thanks will try that as he was hoping for something 'home-made' instead of spending money for something that may not work Quote Link to comment
