Jeepers
This is the way I'm sealing my flour and potato flakes. It's easier than in canning jars and takes up less space. I'm saving my jars as much as I can. Then I'm going to put each bag in a quart size Mylar bag and then into a bucket. Probably over kill but I don't want any rodents to find it. The WE2's
I think I'll stick with my half gallon jars. Works for me and I have the space for them. Quote Link to comment

For over the top "overkill," you can put a chunk of dry ice in your bucket before sealing them and as it "melts" it will remove/replace the oxygen in the container. At least that's what I "learned" prepping for Y2K. 1 Quote Link to comment
Jeepers
Paper bag, vacuum seal, Mylar bag, oxygen absorber, bucket... I think I'm good. Will consider dry ice. 1 Quote Link to comment
