nana9
One of my grandkids was in the garden with me and bees and butterflies were every where. I told him they were gathering pollen to make honey with so we whould have some later. So about 5 min. passed and he said nana do butterflies make butter? I just cracked up after that, He is 3 so he had put thought into discussion on why we needed bees and butterflies. Link to comment

Cat
Working with Kindergarteners can be a real education for adults, too. So many of these kids have *no* experience with the world away from television. One of my kids told me last week that we get milk from cows by "squeezing their butt". He learned a little more that day about bovine anatomy and the dairy industry. Link to comment
