HSmom Posted May 3, 2007 Share Posted May 3, 2007 If it is warm you are probably perspiring - even small amounts that you might not be aware of. You will need the water to replace that which you lose through your skin. OTOH, salty foods will encourage your body to hang onto extra fluids. That you will see as a gain on the scale. Temporarily.
