melon syrup ?

does anyone have a recipe for melon syrup? i haven't seen one but i know i've read about it.i was thinking that it was melon puree,suger,and maybe lemon juice or fruit protector.but not sure.

May I ask what you would like to use it for?

 

I was looking for recipes for you, and found a place where someone wrote that they had found it too difficult to make a consistantly-flavored melon syrup for drinks, so they gave up and only bought commercially made ones.

Melons don't have enough acid to can them, so you should freeze the melon syrup.

I would have no idea how much added acid you would need to make it safe to can. They have a ph level as high or higher than many vegetables. They are related to the gourd family.
