Atlanta ATC: "Tower to Saudi Air 511 -- You are cleared to land on runway 9 right" Saudi Air: "Thank you Atlanta ATC. Acknowledge cleared to land on infidel's runway 9 Right - Allah be Praised." Atlanta ATC: "Tower to Iran Air 711 --You are cleared to land on runway 27 Left." Iran Air: "Thank you Atlanta ATC. We are cleared to land on infidel's runway 27 Left. - Allah is Great." Pause... Saudi Air: " ATLANTA ATC - ATLANTA ATC" Atlanta ATC: "Go ahead Saudi Air 511." Saudi Air: "YOU HAVE CLEARED BOTH OUR AIRCRAFT FOR THE SAME RUNWAY GOING IN OPPOSITE DIRECTIONS. WE ARE ON A COLLISION COURSE. INSTRUCTIONS, PLEASE." Atlanta ATC: "Well bless your hearts. And praise Jesus. Y'all be careful now and tell Allah "hey" for us -- " Link to comment

Jeepers Posted March 8, 2008 Share Posted March 8, 2008 Ya know the funniest part for me is, at times I sort of lapse into a little bit of a drawl (southern Indiana style) and when I read the last part I heard myself saying it in that accent. I think I scared me. Link to comment
