Not only is Google tracking flue inquires but they are reporting instantly to Center for Disease Control!

look up flu symptoms.. you are not reported as a statistic to CDC!

you name isn't documented but your location is.

lightening speed! wow! wonder why?

me looking up fever from flu gets put into a statistic? oh goodness... I sure could have fun messing with their stats!

every day look something flu related up! can you imagine! this can be used against them!

What? Oh dear. I've screwed up their stats bad then because I've been using Google for 2 days searching endless for all kinds of flu stuff. Why in the world are they doing this? What is the point?

ok, right from the googles mouth!

but to answer your question...Fox News reported it on 11/12.

what bothers me is ....why does google think that because I look up the word 'flu' I should become a statistic?

So I say.. lets give them what they want..numbers!!! keep looking up flu! become part of their problem not part of their solution!

you know I understand tracking my searches to help better understand how to market to me since that is how a search engine is free.. advertising! but... to report to the CDC? and think that this is a real number?

What is next?

It was on our local news Thursday night. What they said they were doing was reporting to the CDC the regions that have the highest search on flu. This is to supposedly help the CDC track the flu outbreak. tinfoil
