Homemaker
We finally got snow! It's been a few years since we had anything decent. The kids made ice cream with the sweetened condensed milk I had in the cupboard. I decided I'm going to stock up on some in my preps. It will be a nice treat, especially when you don't have power to run a freezer for regular ice cream. I usually don't stock up for many dessert items because of health concerns, but in this case I will make an exception. Link to comment

Snowmom
I had been looking for a recipe too, and found several, here is just one. 1 gallon snow 1 cup white sugar 1 tablespoon vanilla extract 2 cups milk DIRECTIONS When it starts to snow, place a large, clean bowl outside to collect the flakes. When full, stir in sugar and vanilla to taste, then stir in just enough milk for the desired consistency. Serve at once. Link to comment
