SINUS HEADACHE PILLOW

 

 

1/2 C. flax seeds

1 part crushed spearmint leaf

1 part crushed peppermint leaf

1 part lavender buds

1 part eucalyptus leaf

1 part rosemary leaf

 

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl.

 

Cut two pieces of material 10 x 4 inches and sew together. Making a bag, leave one end open and stuff the bag. Sew up the open end.

 

 

I am going to make one of these for Cappy because he won't use the Neti Pot

I got mine from my doctor as she is promoting them for all her sinus valley patients. They work really great and I haven't had to have an antibiotic or spray since I started using the Neti.

A Neti Pot can also be bought locally at a health food store. Out food coop has several different kinds. It takes a bit to get used to using one. Using it makes me gag...but, it works.

You can also use a baby nasal bulb syringe instead of a neti pot. They only cost about a dollar. That is what my ENT doctor recommends for use. I also have a really good thing called a Nasalene. It is a large syringe type deal with a large rubber tip on it. A friend of mine that works for an ENT doctor sent it to me. I use it all the time.
