Anyone make dough in your food processor?

I know that some use a breadmaker just for that and some use a stand mixer and Michael makes it by hand. I want to get a food processor and not sure if it is worth it to get one with a dough hook. Thanks for any input!

Get the dough hook or blade. I have an older Cuisinart food processor that works great for bread dough. The dough blade is also better for cookies and pie pie crusts.

I love my Cuisinart, too ! I use mine for pizza crust, pie dough, all kinds of things. That is my most favorite kitchen appliance of all times other than the gas stove. I have a Kitchen Aid mixer and I don't use it. Just that Cuisinart instead.

 

I had an expensive bread machine. My daughter has it now. We didn't like the bread in it nearly as well as made in the food processor and baked in the oven.

Yo Miki, that is a good idea. We got a food processor off Freecycle and I forgot they have a dough blade as well. That'll save time and effort.
