Snowmom
*********************** Here are some things that count for miles. These are as you can count them, 1 mile will = one mile. Biking, swiming, walking, and such. ********* These will be counted as 1 hour = one mile ********* will be down and up 10 times = one mile******** These two willl be 30 minutes = one mile weights, jumping rope. snow shoveling ******** You will have to be the judge of these. We have been counting 1 hour as a mile, but, sometimes it isn't so. Therefore, I'm letting you be the judge of these. ************ Miles for last week, I am going to say with laundry, stairs, shopping, housework, dishes, and all, I got in about a total of maybe 7 miles last week, maybe I will get a few more next week. Ok, who will be ??? ********* Who is going to join us? Anyone who wants to start exercising or walking or whatever, count your miles and add them up this week and post them next week when either Momo or I make the walking post. Quote Link to comment
dogmom4
Nine miles on my exercise bike, 3 1/2 miles of walking, 1 hour yard work....for a total of 13 hours. I got on the scale this morning and have lost 3 1/2 pounds since January 1. Yay! Quote Link to comment
Annarchy
The dog yanked pretty badly with his leash and threw my back out badly. OMG I could hardly walk, or sit, or move. That stopped me in my tracks. (He now has a choke chain and is learning really fast not to pull on me and to catch me when I fall.) House cleaning was done in sllooooowwwww motion, so I can not count my usual 2 miles. Maybe only one. Managed to walk a block with the dog twice, and after doing my inversion table and hot tub a couple of times the pain has eased and I am getting back up to speed.... slow. 2 miles. (That's bad.) Dogmom4 that's excellent. Snowmom you upped your total by 2 mile, very good! Quote Link to comment
