Biking, swiming, walking, and such. ********* These will be counted as 1 hour = one mile ********* will be down and up 10 times = one mile******** These two willl be 30 minutes = one mile weights, jumping rope. ******** You will have to be the judge of these. We have been counting 1 hour as a mile, but, sometimes it isn't so. Therefore, I'm letting you be the judge of these. ************ Last week I got in a total of 5 miles for shopping, stairs, dishes, house cleaning, weights and I walked 3 1/8 miles and rode 16 miles. I'm counting a total of 24 and 1/8 miles for last week. We got another 5 - 8 inches of snow over the weekend. I should have been out but, didn't do it and I have a nephew who will stop and do it for us on his way home from work, as he goes by when he goes home. This really works out good for us. ********************************* Ok, who will be ??? ********* Who is going to join us? Anyone who wants to start exercising or walking or whatever, count your miles and add them up this week and post them next week when either Momo or I make the walking post. Quote Link to comment
Annarchy Posted March 12, 2013 Share Posted March 12, 2013 The snow sounds lovely, Snowmom. Great job keeping up your miles. Last week, I got 3 miles walking the dog, 2 cleaning house and laundry. And I, slowly, mowed the lawn and pulled weeds, for 2 more miles. I've made it to 7 miles again! This week I doubt my miles will be worth squat, seeing I'm in TX with MIL until Thursday.
