Miles for April 7 - 13, 2013

Here are some things that count for miles.

These are as you can count them, 1 mile will = one mile.

Biking, swiming, walking, and such.

These will be counted as 1 hour = one mile

will be down and up 10 times = one mile

These will be 30 minutes = one mile

weights, jumping rope.

You will have to be the judge of these. We have been counting 1 hour as a mile, but, sometimes it isn't so. Therefore, I'm letting you be the judge of these.

What else can you think of that isn't listed, just add it and let me know.

I got in a total of 4 miles for shopping, stairs, dishes, house cleaning, laundry, weights, etc. I didn't walk at all last week, but did ride 4 miles, so I got a total of 8 miles in last week. I just ride and then my leg hurts, so am going to go this week without riding and see what happens. Old Pine rode 4 miles also.

 

We got another 4 inches or so of snow Sunday and yesterday. I thought we were going to have Spring as it had really been thawing last week.

Sounds like you did pretty good.

 

Last week, cleaning, walking the dog and such, I think I got about 5 miles. My back, legs and feet were giving me spasms and cramps, so I did not do my sit-ups and only walked the dog once.

 

Snow! Such a drastic difference from the 90 degree heat wave we have. It rained one day last week, then got hot again.

walking - 12 miles

 

snow ... and heat in the 90s ... we've been in the mid 50's. We did have a couple gorgeous days in the 70s -- loved those days!
