Snowmom
********** Here are some things that count for miles. These are as you can count them, 1 mile will = one mile. Biking, swiming, walking, and such. ********* These will be counted as 1 hour = one mile ********* will be down and up 10 times = one mile******** These two willl be 30 minutes = one mile weights, jumping rope. ******** You will have to be the judge of these. We have been counting 1 hour as a mile, but, sometimes it isn't so. Therefore, I'm letting you be the judge of these. ************ Last week, September 15-21, I am going to say with laundry, stairs, shopping, housework, dishes I may have gotten in about 6 miles. I didn't walk on the treadmill or bike at all. One of these days I am in hopes to get back down and do that. Ok, who will be ??? ********* Who is going to join us? Anyone who wants to start exercising or walking or whatever, count your miles and add them up this week and post them next week when either Momo or I make the walking post. Quote Link to comment
Momo
Is your treadmill being used as a clothes hanger right now Snowmom? I hear that is what many of them become. I would like to have a treadmill but I don't have a place to put one(or the money to buy one). I am in such bad shape right now that I would have to start off with teeny teeny baby steps. Snowmom
Momo, no, the treadmill isn't being used as a clothes hanger, but, it sure seems like it could be since I haven't used it like I should. Yesterday, I was in so much leg pain, I could hardly walk or set. Not sure if I pulled a muscle or if it is from the lymes yet. It seems like we are busy and or are gone lately. I know, I really have to use the treadmill for what it was made for. Quote Link to comment
Annarchy
((((((Snowmom)))) ((((Momo))))) Last week, I walked the dog twice 1 1/2 miles. Walked with MIL a mile on the bus tour, gave me a total of 4 miles. Sadly, it was not without side effects of pain. Sheesh. I've used my inversion table to do upside down sit ups, it forces the muscles to do the work without harming the bones... 'clothes hanger' ooopppssss.... lol. I really should start my routine back up again, too. Quote Link to comment
