Snowmom
I do hope you are all feeling well and are able to do a bit of walking now. **********Here are some things that count for miles. These are as you can count them, 1 mile will = one mile. Biking, swimming, walking, and such. *********These will be counted as 1 hour = one mile********* will be down and up 10 times = one mile ********These will be counted as 30 minutes = one mile weights, jumping rope. ********You will have to be the judge of these. We have been counting 1 hour as a mile, but, sometimes it isn't so. Therefore, I'm letting you be the judge of these. ************For the week of June 28 - July 4, I walked 26.11 miles, July 5 - 11, I walked 17.51 miles, July 12 - 18, I walked 23.82 miles and all was on my fit bit, of course there were a couple days that we were at the fair and so I did get in a bit more walking. It was so hot that week that I went in when I took my stuff in, then the next day to see what I got and again on Sunday to pick my things up again. One day soon, I hope, I will get down to walk and/or ride so should get more miles in. Also, maybe I can drop a pound or two or more. : ********* Ok, who will be Quote Link to comment
Momo
I haven't done any walking yet but I did have my annual doctor visit. ( I have to go once a year to get my prescriptions refilled) On my lo carb diet my A1C went from 8.6 to 7.0. My triglycerides went from 1,000 (not a typo) to 198. My cholesterol stayed the same 185. I am pretty happy with the improvements. Some day I hope to walk laps around all of you..lol. Quote Link to comment
Annarchy
I was wondering how the Fair went for you Snowmom. Momo, you sound like you are doing much better. June 28 - July 4: 12 miles, 1 of that is swimming. July 5 - 11: 9 miles, 2 miles swimming July 12 - 18: 5 miles, 1 mile swimming. MIL & I did not do much. I pulled weeds every day and filled her dumpster half full. It is not a lot of miles, but, I am excited to say, I have lost 5 lbs. Now, if I can keep it off, I will be a happy camper.
