I'm not saying this is the healthiest of dishes...nobody stone me for using ramen noodles! But it's actually pretty tasty and these are ingredients from my stock pantry.
Ramen noodles (6 packs)
diced onions/celery/bellpeppers ( I now have these dehydrated )
2 cans of tuna ( I prefer packed in water)
I add the vegies (and you could also do corn or peas, etc...) into the boiling water right before I add the noodles and seasoning and then stir in the tuna at last. Serve it up and season with black pepper or hot sauce.
Of course I'm cooking for a small army, but you could easily half the amount of noodles and tuna.
Sounds good! Good Thread~
Here's one of my cupboard cooking quickies...
Quick Creamy Tuna and Noodles
Cream of Chicken
Canned tuna
Canned sweet peas
Egg Noodles
Season Salt and Black Pepper
I dilute the cream of chicken as instructed on the can with water, add the noodles first to get them started softening and then add everything else. If you like a strong tuna taste, use the juice, if not drain. I drain the peas about half way and dump them in too. My kids love this and it's easy.
Thanks BiscuitMaker, I surely check that out.
And Snowmom, please do ask your dh to share his secrets.
My main hesitancy at this point is the daily feedings that most require. I did seem some that said you don't have to, but not sure they'd be really good.
If I must feed every day, I'll wait until after our Thanksgiving trip to start mine...don't want to find a baby sitter!

Why did the lady at the grocery store give you grief?

Hi everyone, I'm just investigating this new idea...new for me I mean...
I'm checking out some of the web sites and trying to decided if I'm brave enough to tackle it....
May I ask...why do you make your own...just for the fun of it??? or are there other benefits??
