Yes it's Oregon Right on the southern edge in Ashland. http://www.ashlandchamber.com/ http://www.oregoncitylink.com/ashland/ Famous for it's Shakespeare Festival and Southern Oregon University. I am so happy here! Being in the mountains makes my heart sing. We will have snow, but only a little bit. Mostly it will snow higher up and we can go play in it but I won't have the shoveling that goes with it! Mt. Ashland has skiing and snowboarding. Hopefully DH can get enough work here so we can stay! Somehow or other we are determined to make it work.

Autumn is my favorite too I just love the gorgeous leaves and the crisp air. Hot apple cider and the smell of stew bubbling on the stove. Back to school and a regular routine again sure feels nice after summer's chaos! And it's so cozy to sleep under my down blanket again.

Thanks for the warm welcome back I feel so much better knowing I have a way to use alternate heat if anything were to happen to the gas heat. Not that we couldn't survive just fine without any since it is so mild here in comparison to Iowa!

{{{{{Brigie and Pat))))) Happy Belated Anniversary Snowmom! Hope everyone else is having a lovely weekend. Cassie and I drove up to Jacksonville for the citywide garage sale today and looked around downtown there. Neat place. We discovered a little museum while we were there that has textile demonstations and shows you how to spin and weave on a loom. We'll certainly be back there another time to see the rest of the museums there. As a homeschool mom I am over the moon with all the Pioneer history in the area Medford has a great museum too that we will be visiting soon. Tomorrow I am supposed to meet up with a friend of mine at her parents ranch near Jacksonville to pick apples. We went to High School together. It's so nice already knowing someone nearby.

Hey all Waving hi in the midst of boxes up to my ears. I can't remember if I posted this or not but I wanted to let you all know we are moving to Ashland OR to be near my dad while Lane looks for a job. Nothing not even a nibble here, so we figure if we are going to have to get a job while he looks for one in his field better to be near family especially if he ends up doing temp contract work and has to travel frequently. I wanted to get the kids settled before school starts so I am frantically packing up and getting the house ready to rent/sell. Prayers please for a smooth move and that someone will buy our house fast! I miss you all so much and I promise to get back to posting once we are there, probably around Sept 1. Well i'm very glad you will be able to upgrade to a slightly larger apt. I'd definately err on the side of definately being able to afford it no matter how much you are working. much less stress for you, and a little extra income if you do have more students to save for a rainy day or spend on those unexpected expenses that pop up from time to time, or just a little fun now and then! I am so relieved for you. I have seen some jobs on Monster.com that require A+ certification lately. Is your DH still looking for computer jobs in addition to the managing of the apt building? My DH is going to be interviewing for a sales position tomorrow. Cross your fingers for him! It's here in town so it would be good even if it's selling computer web sites instead of creating them.

Well if you have to post at a public computer a pub's a lot more fun than the library Hope your puter is up and running again soon cause we miss you!

Welcome Joan Glad you are joining us! My mom and my DH's family hail from WA. I live in IA currently, but we'd love to go home! Lots of librarians here, Dee is one too! I am seriously considering it as a career after my little ones have flown the nest. I spent my childhood with my nose in a book LOL.
