Marine Cp. Evan James is the cousin of one of my online friends. Please pray for his family. She is expecting a baby in May and I know this is heartbreaking for her and her aunt and uncle.

I've been telling DH we need a mini vacation not visiting family. As long as it doesn't conflict with my trip t visit my grandmother I'd love to come. I don't know yet when that will be, it's up to her and my dad to let me know when it will be.

Good for you! Sometimes we forget we can say NO to others and say YES to what we really need and want to do . Hope you enjoy the slower pace.

You're doing a great job! We all cross the line once in awhile, and you can never please everyone. Humor is such an individual thing anyhow, it's tough to know what's offensive sometimes. Don't fret about it

You are right she is goign through some of the same, only I think she is identifying too much with my husband as the cheif wage earner. She has never truly respected my decision not to have a career as much as she has verbally said she does. I always knew this day would come, if I ever dared have my own ideas about things. Oh well the ball is in her court. I won't sink down to her level. From now on she'll only hear positive things from me, never a whisper that everything isn't perfect. Because that is what I am being rejected for, not being PERFECT. I'm not exaggerating either. Since that is an imposibility I will have to just accept that she will never be able to give me unconditional love and support. I will just have to give it to her and my own children and hope that it is enough. Thank you all for YOUR unconditional love and support for me. It has given me the softest place to fall and I can't tell you enough how much all of you mean to me

Sometimes I wonder if my mother just hates me because I was born I guess this is a crystal clear lesson on how not to parent your adult child! Is it any wonder I am afraid to ask for what I need in my relationship???!!!!

I will never understand people who would do such a thing! i would be SO mad. I think it was definately meant to be for you to be the one to find them. I hope you can track them down!
