Howdo ladies and gents!! Woo hoo! I'm back! My darling son fiddled with the computer and got us to going again! Yee Haw!! I think I've got massive catching up to do, huh? I feel like I've been gone forever! We haven't moved yet. Having to wait on money. We plan to move the first couple weeks of March. I've been so busy dealing with our Homeschool Enrichment Class Support Group that I haven't been able to do anything productive in the line of packing to move. Mornin' Ya'll!!! Glad to see you again lowlander! Sorry I've been away for so long. We're having computer problems AGAIN!!!!! The family computer has decided it doesn't want to work with the internet anymore. Older dons computer can't get it's modem reiinstalled and younger sons computer is real slow. I'm currently using the boys DREAMCAST game system to be online. I have very limited capabilities so bear withh me if this post is all outa wack!!! We finally bought me a car 2 days ago. Whew! It's tuff not having a vehicle, isn't it snowmom? We are hoping to be moved in the new Rental house by the first week of March. We'll see..... Hope everyone has a stupendous day!!! mommafitz

First off, I have a headache.........I spoke to the owners and they will work with us. They really want us there. (That makes me feel good.) We won't have to worry about the rent increasing or moving before next spring at the earliest. These are 2 big things that DH was worried about. When he wakes up, I'll have to talk to him about this. Yep, Im losing my mind! Whew!! I was told that Nashville has ice right now. We live 1 1/2 hours from there. Snow is at the North end of the county. We live at the Southern end. We aren't even seeing snowflakes yet................

Sure, we could buy the whole thing right now. My husband knows how much they are asking for it and it explains why it has not sold. The price is too high and they won't give an inch. We aren't financially able to purchase at this time even if we wanted to buy it. Poop. I'm finally disgusted with everything. I feel like we are going around in circles chasing our tails................

Mornin' Ya'll! I hope everyone had a good first day of the week yesterday. Hubby's truck wasn't finished cuz mechanic had been sent wrong carborator. Hopefully, it will be done today. My moving plans have been put on hold. Perfect house, perfect pets arraangement, perfect price, perfect landlords. My husband said something had to give, right? I spoke with Mrs. Landlord yesterday and she tells me her brother plans to purchase the house hopefully in the fall. Could be earlier than that.......could be later. He plans to ....*gasp*....subdivide the 5 acres! (This left my horrified. The place has such character. Subdividing will ruin it.) I told her we were still interested. Last night, hubby and I talked. Since nothing would be in writing, we would have no guarantee the rent would stay the same. We would be living day to day, wondering if today is the day we'd have to leave. Exactly as we are doing now. I don't want to be moving every few months. When we move, I want to know we can be there no less than a year. I'm hoping that would give us time to save some moolah to purchase a house. So we're back to square one. I've not called these really nice people yet. Also, she keeps mentioning that we might want to buy the house. Bless her heart. She means well. Today's weather is calling for a wintery mix. Too bad I'll hafta get out. I sure like to be home when it gets nasty. I'm thankful we haven't got the ice some of y'all have! Have a lovely day no matter the weather! mommafitz

Okay ladies...........update time...... The home to purchase isn't going to work. It's a fixer upper but it needs so much work done to it that it is not liveable. That won't work. We visited with the folks that own the house we drove by yesterday. They are super duper nice. It has 5 acres..to mow. The pets are fine. It is much bigger than our current house. We haven't given them a definite answer but I think we're gonna take it. The truck won't be ready until at least Monday. We are going to borrow my mother-in-laws car for the weekend. Bless her little heart. She has always been there for us. We didn't get to do much out of town today. We were kinda rushed to get home and go look at those rentals. Also, our funds are scarce. Bah humbug. You guys crack me up! I have visions of a big ole hairy nekkid man walking thru a yard scratching his butt!! Everyone have a lovely evening! mommafitz

I went to the library again yesterday and picked up some videos and a couple of books after returning some others. I had to have my son check out 2 books on his card cuz our limit is 25 items! I didn't realize I had so much......snicker.....I'm such a goober......At least everything is in one place so I can find it.....I hope The Davinci Code doesn't come in for me before I get something turned in!!!!!! How do, ya'll! It's almost the end of the week........... Yesterday went well. We have one mom that shirks her responsibilities and it drives me nuts. She still owes money from last semester and it must be paid before she can register her children this semester. Believe me, there is not a financial hardship here. I have authorized a couple of scholarships because the families were having it rough. I definitely know what that's like.........Anyway, that's the only unpleasantness from yesterday. Yay!!! We are having second thoughts about the house for rent in town. I finally was able to visit with the owner on the phone yesterday. There is no storage. We have 2 fishing boats (nothing fancy but they're ours), 2 ATVs, a large riding lawnmower, 2 tillers, and weedeaters. That's just a sampling of outside stuff we need storage for. Also, (here's the kicker) I asked her why she was moving from her own house. She told me that she's moving in with her boyfriend. OOOOOOOOOKKKKKKKKKKKKAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYY.............. what happens if they have a fight and he throws her out? Is she gonna want us outa there asap? Even with a lease it would be an uncomfortable situation. Ans there's that thing about being right in downtown........We have an appointment with her on Sunday at 2pm. I have a couple of friends that are looking into some places for me. I have a good lead to check into today or tomorrow. Keep us in your thoughts, please.
