Last night was a great trip to our library! I chose 2 audio books to listen to while packing and doing chores. They are on cd's instead of cassette tapes. (We are really stepping up in the world!

Mornin' ya'll! I thought I'd get an early start to our day. I cleaned out 2 book cases yesterday. I put books in 4 piles: Pile 1.........books to go to yds's room Pile 2.........books to go to family room bookshelves Pile 3.........books to sell in the homeschool book sale/yard sale Pile 4.........books to take to used book store for credit trade I have a dust allergy and I was sick until I got some fresh air. I guess I'll be eating allergy pills until after we get all moving completed.

I have been considering the Spring Fling fun. I am undecided cuz we will be in the middle of moving and having 2 addresses. Do you think my package would get lost? I did enjoy the Christmas ornament exchange very much. It is so much fun to get something in the mail instead of bills! We're supposed to hit 60 degrees tomorrow with SUNSHINE. Yippee! Around here squirrel, rabbit, deer, etc are still eaten. We all consider that merely country cooking. Fried squirrel is ok............every 5 years or so! I keep thinking they look like rats and it makes me nauseated! We love fresh fish and fried deer meat at my house. We're having trout for supper tonight that my husband caught last week! I borrowed the book on tape from the library but did not listen to it. I read a review of it in the paper comparing the book with the movie. I found out the ending from that article and decided it wasn't for me. ..........snicker...Isn't that silly? mommafitz

Howdo ladies and gents!! Woo hoo! I'm back! My darling son fiddled with the computer and got us to going again! Yee Haw!! I think I've got massive catching up to do, huh? I feel like I've been gone forever! We haven't moved yet. Having to wait on money. We plan to move the first couple weeks of March. I've been so busy dealing with our Homeschool Enrichment Class Support Group that I haven't been able to do anything productive in the line of packing to move. Mornin' Ya'll!!! Glad to see you again lowlander! Sorry I've been away for so long. We're having computer problems AGAIN!!!!! The family computer has decided it doesn't want to work with the internet anymore. Older dons computer can't get it's modem reiinstalled and younger sons computer is real slow. I'm currently using the boys DREAMCAST game system to be online. I have very limited capabilities so bear withh me if this post is all outa wack!!! We finally bought me a car 2 days ago. Whew! It's tuff not having a vehicle, isn't it snowmom? We are hoping to be moved in the new Rental house by the first week of March. We'll see..... Hope everyone has a stupendous day!!! mommafitz

First off, I have a headache.........I spoke to the owners and they will work with us. They really want us there. (That makes me feel good.) We won't have to worry about the rent increasing or moving before next spring at the earliest. These are 2 big things that DH was worried about. When he wakes up, I'll have to talk to him about this. Yep, Im losing my mind! Whew!! I was told that Nashville has ice right now. We live 1 1/2 hours from there. Snow is at the North end of the county. We live at the Southern end. We aren't even seeing snowflakes yet................

Sure, we could buy the whole thing right now. My husband knows how much they are asking for it and it explains why it has not sold. The price is too high and they won't give an inch. We aren't financially able to purchase at this time even if we wanted to buy it. Poop. I'm finally disgusted with everything. I feel like we are going around in circles chasing our tails................

Mornin' Ya'll! I hope everyone had a good first day of the week yesterday. Hubby's truck wasn't finished cuz mechanic had been sent wrong carborator. Hopefully, it will be done today. My moving plans have been put on hold. Perfect house, perfect pets arraangement, perfect price, perfect landlords. My husband said something had to give, right? I spoke with Mrs. Landlord yesterday and she tells me her brother plans to purchase the house hopefully in the fall. Could be earlier than that.......could be later. He plans to ....*gasp*....subdivide the 5 acres! (This left my horrified. The place has such character. Subdividing will ruin it.) I told her we were still interested. Last night, hubby and I talked. Since nothing would be in writing, we would have no guarantee the rent would stay the same. We would be living day to day, wondering if today is the day we'd have to leave. Exactly as we are doing now. I don't want to be moving every few months. When we move, I want to know we can be there no less than a year. I'm hoping that would give us time to save some moolah to purchase a house. So we're back to square one. I've not called these really nice people yet. Also, she keeps mentioning that we might want to buy the house. Bless her heart. She means well. Today's weather is calling for a wintery mix. Too bad I'll hafta get out. I sure like to be home when it gets nasty. I'm thankful we haven't got the ice some of y'all have! Have a lovely day no matter the weather! mommafitz
