Mysticdream44
I think it kinda depends on what part of the country your in, but in GA I saw blue Ball canning jars in antique stores where quarts went for about $3 to $5 dollars, and 1/2 gal. went for $10 to $12 dollars. Here in KY where we are now, I've seen quarts go for $3 and 1/2 gal. go for $8 to $10. If you go to auctions, sometimes you can get a whole box of them for less than $10. As for using them to can, I don't know. I am a little leery about using them so I use them mostly for storing my dehydrated stuff, celery, onions, herbs, etc. They are great for that. Link to comment

Jewlzm
The title did sure catch some attention. They arnt worth much out here in Idaho.. probibly because people still use them and dont think of them as antiques. Doesnt matter how old they are.. if you think of them as being old only boiling water bath them.. dont pressure can them. Link to comment
quiltys41
As long as the edges are not chipped or cracked, you can still can in them. I still use mine and some of the green ones too. Q Link to comment
