quiltys41
Dang that is a good price and as much as DH loves his tuna I would have to get about 100 cans...is this a local thing only? Q Link to comment
Grubby
I'm not a big fan of tuna, but that is a GREAT price!! I would have stocked up on some. Let's post some tuna recipes! My mom always made salmon patties and I hate having to sort through all the bones, (UGH!) So I make tuna patties! Yummy! Tuna Patties 2 cans tuna 1 egg corn meal butter for frying Drain the tuna. Add 1 egg and enough corn meal to hold the tuna together. Shape into patties. Fry over medium heat. Link to comment
Buttercup
I got it 4 for a dollar 3 weeks ago.... And it was Chicken of the sea even... We make tuna patties as well, only instead of cornmeal I use crackers, onions and eggs and maybe a touch of garlic.... It's a good cheap meal with a box of mac and cheese... We also make what I call Macaroni Tuna Surprise.. 2 boxes of Mac and cheese (fix according to box) 1 can of peas 1-2 cans of tuna drained 1 can of cream of chicken soup Mix it all together and serve....... Snowmom
I don't care for tuna, but when DS and family come they like it and so does Old Pine in a hot dish. Guess we will have to check it out at our NEW Wal-Mart. It opened Wed. morning. Link to comment
