SueC Posted April 25, 2007 Share Posted April 25, 2007 many moons ago, when I was just a little girl... well a few years ago anyway, when milk came in glass bottles, I was told that you opened and closed your scissors around the neck and it would sharpen them at the right angle. Link to comment

Buttercup Posted April 25, 2007 Share Posted April 25, 2007 My mom used to sharpen her knives on the rim of crock bowls.. I assume pickle crocks could be used as well... So it goes to reason that coffee cups would work too.. They look to all be made of the same stuff.. Link to comment
