I got 15 quarts and only one didn't seal but we're just going to go ahead and eat them Thankfully I found out that I needed a water bath canner before I got started because all I have is the pressure canner. Anyway, it was tiring, very time consuming but it was a good experience. I know it won't take so long next time since I have a clue now I'm going to be canning pears tomorrow and making applesauce this weekend! YEAH! Link to comment

I managed to do 7 quarts of pears this morning and will do the rest either tonight or tomorrow morning - too much going on to do it all at once. I should end up with another 7-8 quarts. They were much easier than the peaches and are very pretty! I'm really enjoying that "ping"! Link to comment
