lovinthislife Posted April 28, 2009 Share Posted April 28, 2009 Hi, my name is Gail. I'm from southern Ohio, 47, married to my best friend, mother of 3 grown sons. We are owners of 2 1/2 acres. We love this little homestead. We're trying to raise as much of our own food as possible. Want to raise chickens, but haven't yet. We have apple trees, 1 peach tree, 1 yumm yumm (nectarine), 2 blueberry bushes, 3 raspberry bushes, blackberries that came from the home where I was raised as a child, grapes, a big strawberry bed, plus the garden. We're doing the garden in beds except for the corn. The corn is in the old regular garden. Everything else is in beds where ever we could find room to make beds for them.
