Violet Posted November 22, 2010 Share Posted November 22, 2010 No,sorry ,absolutely no barley. It is a grain and acts as a thickener and also changes the ph too much. No rice, pasta,flour, oatmeal, etc. , nothing that can be considered a grain. Link to comment

LOL Here's what I do : If I am making barley to use in a dish just cook more then you need and save the extra to make soup that was canned- like Turkey soup! Link to comment
