Vic303
So with the holiday, and my Mom visiting, I didn't get but one walk in, and two rides this week. However, one ride was nice as I finally got to ride with DH! Mom watched the kids and we went for a Thanksgiving day ride. Cold but calm, and we got in 22mi on the bikes. So, doing the math, my total miles for this week is 34.41. Link to comment
Annarchy
Glad you got to go with your DH. Congrats on the miles! DH & I went for a 'short' ride twice... 1 mile, big whoop, but it is a start. He asked why it make his legs ache. Cooking on Thanksgiving day netted me a couple of miles tending the fire. Then, housecleaning on Saturday. I am guessing around 7 miles for the week. ~~keeping my average~~ Link to comment
Snowmom
Here are some things that count for miles. These are as you can count them, 1 mile will = one mile. ********* These will be counted as 1 hour = one mile ********* will be down and up 10 times = one mile ******** These two willl be 30 minutes = one mile ******** You will have to be the judge of these. We have been counting 1 hour as a mile, but, sometimes it isn't so. Therefore, I'm letting you be the judge of these. ************ Here are my totals: Walking 1/2 Riding bike Stairs 3 Dishes 1 1/2 House Work 3 Laundry 2 Shopping 5 Other 3 Total.......... 18 miles. I know, one of these days I will get back down and walk and ride and I do hope it is soon. Ok, who will be ??? ********* Who is going to join us? Anyone who wants to start exercising or walking or whatever, count your miles and add them up this week and post them next week when either Momo or I make the walking post. Link to comment
Momo
I would love to be able to ride with DH. It isn't possible with our current health problems though. I think biking is one of the best exercises there is. It also not boring due to the changes in the scenery. Link to comment
Snowmom
The bike I ride is in our basement, but, we have a TV down there so I watch movies while I walk and ride. Wish you were both in better health, Momo. Take care of yourselves. Snow Link to comment
