  1. Happy Birthday!!! Have a great day!!!
  2. I hope you have a nice and uneventful trip Monday @Jeepers! We have termites. Sigh. I have 4 companies to call. A friend came over and talked to us about treatment. While he was here, he bushogged the edge of our property. We gained about 12 feet all around. I am ecstatic! I did deliver 4 meals to shut in ladies, yesterday. Already walked, this morning. Will kill weeds again shortly. Take ebay photos for DH. Go visit with sister-in-law who is up from FL. Not much else, today.
  3. I know it's a lot of cost and stress, but I am sure you will be thankful when your fencing is all done, @Becca_Anne! Good morning! I will walk first. Cook ham and side dishes. I'm making Easter/ Mother's Day dinner today with the ham I bought for Easter. Nothing else on my list, but...
  4. @Becca_Anne, I'm so glad that you got the fencing permit started! And security cameras, too. @Jeepers, You are certainly getting things done! @Littlesister, I hope you can take a little break today, also! Today, I will walk first. Walk dogs. Grill pork steaks. Bible study tonight. I'm thankful for a halfway relaxing day!
  5. I'm so glad you have a new eye doctor, @kappydell! The last one shouldn't be in business! I walked first. Picked up my friend and went to Aldi, Walmart and some shoe store that she wanted to go to in the mall. Tonight is prayer meeting with another friend.
  6. @euphrasyne, I hope you are feeling better today! Already walked this morning. Next will walk dogs. Plant potatoes in lick tub. Put ham in fridge to thaw tonight to bake Friday. Not sure what else the day will bring. I may purge my bathroom medicine closet. That will be a big job. Maybe, do a shelf at a time.
  7. I love those t-shirts @Midnightmom! Glad you had another good ride and are going to get your electric issues dealt with @Mt_Rider! I sure hope you can take a short break @Littlesister! I know it will be short if you have a garden going. I hope that your garden goes gangbusters @Becca_Anne! I know you are putting in the work. This morning, I will walk first. Already have laundry going. Must kill weeds (again). Ready a lick tub to plant potatoes in. Then what? You all have a good week!
  8. Thanks! Me too! And yes, it was worth it to me! Kappy, I will pray that your next eye surgery is a complete success! This may be double posted, but I couldn't find the first one. Already set up my vitamins for the next month. Church Pick up a pizza for dinner. Walk dogs. Call a couple of friends, this afternoon. Relaxing day!
  9. Rainy day, here. Will do walking video shortly. Helping a friend, later and tomorrow. See you all Sunday! I took the electric blanket off the bed today! Officially, summer is here for me!
  10. Happy day after Birthday, MomM!!! I hope you had a great and that you have a wonderful weekend!!!
  11. Walked first, this morning. Took DH to oral surgeon for first visit and x-rays. Stopped at a jeweler's and had my silver heart pendant put on a stronger chain that I had. $6 Yay! Thrift store to donate more purging items. Still have to walk dogs. Bible study tonight. DH got his hearing aids fixed at the doc, yesterday. Thank God!
  12. Happy, Happy Birthday, Darlene!!! I hope you have a wonderful day!!!
  13. Walked first this morning. Took ebay photos for DH. Killed weeds in back yard. Going to hearing aid doc with DH this afternoon and then stop at Walmart. Maybe prayer meeting this evening according to when we get home.
  14. Praying that your electric gets sorted soon and that minimalizing goes well and quickly, @Mt_Rider! Walked first this morning. Will take jeep to detail fellow in a bit. While cleaning stuff out of jeep yesterday, I found a small silver heart pendant that my Grandad gave me when I was 16 years old. The chain had snapped while I was in the car about 5 years ago and I thought it flew out the window. I have cleaned the car since, myself, but never got under the front seat well enough to find it. There was a pink post it note in front of it which I almost just left, thinking I was done. I can be meticulous, so I twisted until I could grab the note and saw something shiny behind it. Grabbed at it and it was the heart. Before I started getting stuff out of the car, I was talking to God and said "this is probably about the last time you can show me where this pendant is, if it is in the car". And He did! Praise God! When I get home, I will walk dogs. Make hummus. Clean baths. Pick up car.
  15. I saw that several small ones affected Southern California last night.
  16. I hope the aftershocks are over and that you get some rest @Ambergris! Yesterday was Church first and then walked dogs. Put up tomato cages for my plants. Finally cleaned out the junk drawers. Didn't take very long. Today, walked first. Did laundry. Cleaned stuff out of my jeep as I'm getting it detailed tomorrow. Made a breakfast casserole for the week. Paid bills. Called hearing aid doc for DH. Hoping they have a cancellation soon! He broke them, somehow. This afternoon, I will cut up carrots for the dogs. Make hummus and cut celery. I'm tired!
  17. I will walk shortly. Pick up my friend and go to the salvage grocery store about 20 miles away. Re-pack GHB. Maybe get through one of the junk drawers. Won't take more than 15 minutes apiece, but I can't seem to get started. Spend some more time outdoors with pups--72 and sunny today!
  18. Walked first, this morning. Picked up my friend and we went to Lowe's for weed killer. Aldi's for produce. Walmart for monthly stock up. They were out of quite a bit that I usually buy. Not needed stuff but DH's wants. Went to lunch at a mediocre and over priced Mexican restaurant. Won't go there again. But ice cream after almost made up for it! Not sure if I will do anything else today.
  19. I think it is one of the symptoms of Cushing's disease. And I agree about life spans, but if my schnauzers had longer life spans, I wouldn't have met Peanut Butter. Raining here now. Hopefully over by 9. Then will walk and walk dogs. Take ebay photos. Re-pack GHB Purge one or two junk drawers. Deliver some food to an older friend. Bible study this evening Sometimes, I make myself tired looking at what all I do in a day. @Becca_Anne, I hope your workload gets straightened out soon!
  20. I was going to have my jeep detailed tomorrow. Big rain and storms tomorrow, so will do it next week. Must be the season. Mine hasn't been done since 2015.
  21. Walked first. Good thing to get done. Didn't sleep much. Dropped off some leftover s'mores bars at mechanics. Cars are there so much, they are like family. Made Smashed garlic, parmesan, bacon honey potatoes. I added the bacon bits and honey! Going out to grill venison, hot dogs and burgers in a few minutes. Going to prayer meeting tonight at 6:30. @Mt Rider, I'm so glad you have a good therapist! And Peanut Butter's legs have stopped shaking almost completely! That is a great first step!
  22. Good morning! Had a busy few days and only on here to read. Little Peanut Butter isn't improving with just milk thistle, so will start treating her for Cushing's today-flax seed, melatonin and coconut oil. We will see if that helps. She is still happy, so not ready to put her down. Made coleslaw and s'more bars yesterday. They will go to a cookout I am going to today. I'll walk first and then dehydrate some sweet potato slices for dog treats. Later, I want to thinly slice a venison roast and marinate it overnight to grill tomorrow on skewers. Cookout at 3 and then rest. @Littlesister, so far I have a smart meter but a low tech thermostat. Can't hook to wifi with it and they keep offering free smart thermostats, but I am not interested. I set mine on and off manually and that is how I want it. My bill has not gone up with the new meter.
  23. @kappydell, I bought a pair of berry picking gloves for my blackberries. They are a thicker rubber? glove and now I am much faster and not torn up.
