OMG ladies, I should tell ya, about 15 yrs. ago when I was sick in bed with a cold.

My husband and daughter Jen decided to cook something easy for supper (in the kitchen).

With supervision, daughter Jen made this soup.

Hubby and all 3 daughter's really liked it.

I was abit leary of the weird combination,

but when I was feeling better, and got my taste buds back.

I had some of this soup, and to my surprise, it tasted pretty good.

It was a kid pleasing meal in our house.

Hope you all will like it too!!

Waiting...Darlene??? How's the soup?

I'm a chicken when it comes to eating something new or different. I have a friend that pours milk over her popcorn and eats it like cereal. She swears by it's goodness but I still cannot fathom the thought of ruining a good bowl of popcorn.

Very interesting combination of ingredients this soup recipe has.

Of course this would be good! Just like you see on the menu some thai dish with peanut sauce.

Years ago when I was trying out being a vegetarian I made two soups I still remember from Recipes for a Small Planet by Ellen Buchman Ewald - one is Peanut Tofu and Sesame Soup which to my mind looks awful but to this day I crave the taste. The other is actually cereal - A Cold Morning for Hot Peanut Cereal which is also memorable.
