Here it is. smile

Baking Powder Biscuits

2 cups flour

1 tsp. salt

4 tsp. baking powder

4 Tab. shortening

3/4 cup milk or water

Put flour, salt, and baking powder into a bowl, mix so it is mixed up good. Add shortening, and cut into the flour mixture.. Add milk or water and mix in until it is just wet. I use milk.

You can roll them out on a floured surface and cut with cookie cutter or you can drop by spoonfuls unto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 425º F. for about 25 - 30 minutes or until golden brown.

Note: Add a tsp. or two of sugar and use for shortcake. smile

I don't always add the surgar. smile
