Spices

I just recieved a flier from Emergency Essentials and while thumbing through it I came across their selection of spices. They have great prices on the spices. They all come in 1 pound bags. Anyone ever used the spices from them? Most of the stuff is mixed spices, but they do have things like cinnamon and garlic powder, $5.45 and $$6.45, respectively. I'm just curious if these cheap prices are good. Are the spices good? Are they sealed in air-tight bags?

I get mine here: http://www.atlanticspice.com/spices.asp cheaper and excellent quality. Also look at their bulk herbs. I get spearmint for tea and dried nettles for stew among other things. I usually get a good big order from them every year or two.

Wow! Those are better prices, even, than the restaurant supply place I went to recently for a big stock-up on spices. In the future, this one looks very good. THANK YOU, CGA!!!!!!!

I get my spices from EE. I also got the the plastic containers

to go with them.

I get mine from www.azurestandard.com Even if you don't live within their delivery area, spices are light enough that shipping via UPS might NOT be cost prohibitive. Most of the spices they carry are "Oregon Sprice" or "Frontier" brands. Many are organic. And a few have pharmeceutical properties.
