I also use the term soda. We do drive over and 'carry you to the' store/doctor/lake. the 't isn't needed when speaking most contractions. Anything that ends in "r" gets changed to "ah" and anything that ends in "o" like "hollow" get changed to "er" "holler". All ladies are Miz "first name". As in Miz Ethel or Miz Idela. Martian, most of yours are Southernisms that I heard when I was very young in MS and AL. Link to comment
