ANewMe
Today I stopped in at the grocery store across the street and they have TONS of bananas for .29 lb. My Pop freezes them when the peel starts to turn brown. Any other ideas on what I could do with them? We are on a very tight budget so this is a great price. I just don't want to waste the money if I won't use them. Any ideas? Quote Link to comment
Violet
Banana jam, banana muffins, banana bread, smoothies, banana ice cream. Dried bananas. Dip in chocolate and freeze them. Quote Link to comment

Mt_Rider
very easy to dehydrate and can be eaten like chips [DON'T eat too many] or crumbled onto yogurt, cereal, ice cream..... Not sure if you could sun-dry down south there tho... MtRider [...bananas USED TO cost that much all the time. ] Quote Link to comment
out_of_the_ordinary
If you're able to dehydrate, make banana chips. Although they don't last long here... Quote Link to comment
