DD2 woke up with the flu.

With her boss's permission DD1 took Dr. Di's favorite possession from the office, A 7lb. tumor with hair and teeth she took out of a dog. Dd1 is taking it into DD2's school for the sicence teacher. I'm glad I'm not in his science classes today. Yesterday at school Son was weight lifting and he and the guy spotting him heard a "pop". He is in pain and I didn't find out about it untill after the Doctor's office closed. This could be bad. I'm worried about him. I don't know why he didn't call me right a way.

My girls wanted to get some ducks. I said no repeatedly. So naturally their Dad got them some ducks. They are a week old and the girls put them in bathtub yesterday. They seemed happy. Mom not so much. I made them scrub the tub. I can't wait until they are old enough to live outside. Dh is now talking about getting a chicken or two. The granddaughters had a drawing for my Mom's wedding ring. My Dd2 got it and her sister was not happy about it and was being snarky so I told her to ask my FIL about my MIL's ring. Grandpa said she can pick either the wedding or engagement ring and his other granddaughter can have the other one. When he is gone my Son can have his wedding ring. Last Saturday, Son wanted to go to a movie so we went to a little movie theater not to far from the corner of Market and Main. A very small place. Cheaper than the other theaters in the aera. 4 seats on one side of the isle and 5 on the other. Maybe it would hold 150 people. We saw Oz the great and powerful. All 2 hours and 10 minutes of it in a very SMALL claustrophoibic theater. My Son is 16 today and we are gitting his drivers permit soon and My Dd1 finally learned how to parallel park so she got her drivers licence today. I've been after her for a year to get her licence. She said she is never going to parallel park again. Monday I went to work and found out we are working 11 hours a day + Saturday. Oh joy.

Thank you everyone. It's nice to be surrounded by people who care. My Dh had been a real blessing to me. Sunday about 1 am they called and told us she wasn't doing well.He went with me and slept in a chair the rest of the night to be with her. Sunday was our turn to do coffee at church. He with very little sleep went and picked up my DD2 fiends took all the girls to church and supervised them while they did the coffee. DD1, who doesn't usually help me, went to help her little sister with coffee. All 4 girls have done coffee so they knew what to do. Yesterday he is the one who did most of the cleaning out of Mom's room. My sister's family needed a place to stay so i asked people in my church for help. 6 people immediately opened their homes to my family. They also wanted to know what kinds of food DS family likes. We found out some bad news. My Mom prearranged the funeral a few years ago. We found out the price she paid didn't include the casket and vault. Ouch they do get you coming and going.

Today we finalize the funeral arrangments for my Mom. My sisters family are flying in Wed. One couldn't get a earlier flight and the other 2 are trying to avoid the bad weather we are expecting today. I'm surounded by many wonderful loving friends and family so I'm doing OK.

Mom is now walking the streets of gold. I'll miss her but I'm happy she is a peace now.

Mom has taken a turn for the worse. Right now she is resting comfortably.

After work I went to see my Mom.The nursing home has a happy hour every Friday at 3 so we went to that. They had a DJ playing oldies and a snack bar with food, wine,beer and soft drinks. After that we went to a ISSMA contest my DD2 was in for Jazz Strings. She had a solo in one of the songs they played. She didn't want to do a solo but her teacher told her she was one of best in the group. It took us a hour and half to drive to where the were having ISSMA and it has been a long week at work so I fell asleep coming home. i hate sleeping in a car, now I'm all stiff.

My baby boy will be 16 in a few weeks. He wanted to go to Olive Garden for his Brithday. I've never been there so I said yes. It would be a nice family outing. Friday he ask to go bowling with some friends. He needed a ride so DD1 and Dh picked up one of the friends at her house. They met her Mother. Son paid for the girls (Friend and sister) games and then they took her home. Today he told me the girl has never been to Olive Garden. His new idea is that I take them to OG and leave and go shopping. He will call me when they're are done. My girls said they are not giving up a trip to OG so Son and Girl could sit on the other side of the restaurant. They would leave him alone. They promise. Oh this is going to be fun. I get to ignore Son on his date while making sure Sisters stick to their promise. At least Dh will be there for backup.

I made these for lunch. Next time I will double the recipe. Chicken, feta,spinach burgers 2 eggs, beaten 2 cloves garlic, minced 4 ounces feta cheese 1 (10 ounce) box frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry 2 pounds ground chicken Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat and lightly oil grate. While the grill is preheating, mix together eggs, garlic, feta cheese, spinach, and turkey in a large bowl until well combined; form into 8 patties. Cook on preheated grill until no longer pink in the center, 15 to 20 minutes.

I had to work today which puts me at 60 hours at work this week. After word i came home to find DH had cleaned the living room . He also took me to Hobby Lobby and out to eat. I tried and hurting so I think I'm going to bed early,

Tomorrow night I will be meeting with the social worker and someone from hospice about my Mom. The social worker thinks she would benefit from it. This is going to be a hard meeting for me.

He and his BFF, who put him up to it, still think it 's funny. It's about 5 inches higher than our old bed. I feel like I have to use a step stool to get in it, so when we make the uphpolstered headboard I want I'm going to make him build a shorter frame for it too. I did call them both dweebs.
