Karen, I hope things have improved since your last post. Did you find out what set your niece off? Or did you post that and I missed it? We had a quiet day. I was off work and I got to cook for my family-DH, 13 yo DS, and 17 yo DS. It was a blessing to be able to just stay home. Our cupboards have been sparse for the last few months-literally. It was nice to have so much food. It was also DS 13th birthday. mommafitz

We have done the book discussion here at mssurvival in the past. A book would be agreed upon for everyone to read then we would talk about it. I absolutely love reading. I can inhale a book in a short period of time. I like murder mysteries that I consider "light reading". Maybe we can do this again after the holidays. I think everyone is sooooo busy right now. I am still reading even tho I work so much. I'm wondering when I'm going to have time to work in decorating, baking, crafts, etc before Christmas. I'm not able to visit here every day due to lack of time NOT lack of enthusiasm! I think the Book Discussion Group would be a good think to restart! mommafitz

We're having.......... turkey homemade cornbread dressing gravy mashed potatoes green bean casserole broccoli casserole corn (I put in the freezer back in the summer) crescent rolls dinner rolls pumpkin pie We will also be celebrating our DS birthday. He turns 13 on Thanksgiving day. He's having an Old Fashioned Root Beer Float Cake with vanilla ice cream. Sounds yummy! mommafitz

Good mornin' Folks! I hope everyone is well this morning. I haven't been able to post for a while. That doesn't mean that my thoughts aren't here with you guys. Our life has ben turned topsy turvy for the last couple of months. I'd rather not go into details. Too upsetting. Prayers are definitely needed. Hubby had to resign from his job. He has been in a deep depression. I increased my hours at work to help support our family. He hasn't been able to find a job until recently. The owner of the Car Dealrship where I work asked him to work security at night. For the first time in over 20 years, the business had 3 vehicles stolen last week. mommafitz
