Trudy Posted February 14, 2012 Share Posted February 14, 2012 I mixed the split peas, lentils, barley, 1 cup abc macaroni, and 1 cup brown rice in the canister, then put the spices in a seperate little zip-lock baggie and put that on top. I wanted to be able to wash the peas and rice just before cooking so they would not taste like dirt! Lol This is a great thread! Link to comment

Oh, but dried black-eyed-peas make the best sprouts! and they only need to 'soak' for a few hours and sprout the next day. Not like other sprouts that take days to start. Link to comment
