I haven't worked the Help Desk or supported MS Office since I was promoted to Systems Analyst almost a decade ago, but today I had a Office problem dumped in my lap that almost our whole PC Support team had been working on (and they troubleshoot Office all day long). As a 50+ year old female IT professional, I constantly feel pressure from the youngsters nipping at my heels, but today I pushed them back a bit. Without going into detail, I solved a problem in 30 minutes that several of them had spend DAYS attempting to solve, including placing several calls to Microsoft Tech Support. So, contrary to popular belief, the "old lady" has still got it! WooooHooooooo!! (Thank God! I NEEDED a confidence builder!) There, I had to tell someone! Thanks for listening! Link to comment
